How the process works

It is an exciting time in your life and the process of designing your wedding stationery to create ‘the first impression’ is a beautiful journey for both bride and groom to be.

1. Research & consider your styling

We encourage all our couples to spend some time browsing the various mediums such as Instagram, Pinterest & magazines for your favourite wedding styling ideas.

Take these images as inspiration to fine tune your own style. A collection of images that inspire you assist with the design of your wedding stationery.

Remember that your invitation is the first opportunity you have to create a buzz around your wedding day by introducing to your guests the style, tone & desired atmosphere.

2. Meet with Butterfly Kisses Sydney

We cannot wait to meet you and discuss what you have already discovered about your style as a couple.

We invite you to meet with us at Butterfly Kisses Sydney Headquarters. Here you are able to view samples, discuss options and requirements and be involved in the beautiful design process.

Appointments for the commencement of your beautiful experience are a must and you must get in quick to avoid disappointment. Appointments are available both during the day Monday-Saturday and evenings Monday-Friday. Just call us on 0420 332 583 or alternatively send us an email to

We would love for you to bring 3 pieces of reference material of your desired styles so we have a greater understanding of the wedding stationery style you have in mind. If you are not sure, that is completely fine. We have an abundance of designs and style for your consideration, which no doubt you will fall in love with.

3. Design

This portion of the journey is entirely up to you. You may select a design from our Signature Collection, customising your wording or colours. Or experience being a creative head, guided by the Butterfly Kisses Sydney specialists. With access to all print processes & finishes, papers & embellishments at your fingertips, the design of your wedding invitation and stationery will fly by.

You will receive a live mock up* of your final design prior to entering the production process.  If your invitation design is carried out in a plate based process, then you will receive a proof to sign.

4. Print & Production

Final destination! Once your design is approved, we enter the final stage. Your invitations are printed & produced to the highest quality.

5. Completion

Each completed invitation is carefully checked & packaged, ready for your collection.

When is payment required?

There are a few different scenarios due to our customised service.

Scenario 1: You select a design from our Signature Collection

50% deposit is required to enter design phase to create your artwork & mock up for sign off.

The remaining 50% of the balance must be finalised at time of pick up or prior if direct depositing.

Scenario 2: You take advantage of our customised service.

$150 for new artwork/design creation for a maximum of 2 designs. If you wish to proceed with one of the designs, the $150 design fee will be credited to your final order. Once design has been selected a 50% deposit is required to enter phase 2 of the design process.

The remaining 50% of the balance must be finalised at time of pick up or prior if direct depositing.
